 Are you ready to build a robot, learn cutting-edge technology, and compete in exhilarating competitions? By joining FRC Team 1746 – OTTO, you'll gain hands-on experience in engineering, programming, design, and much more. Whether you're interested in building the robot, writing the code, or leading our outreach efforts, there's a place for you on our team.
Robotics is more than just competition; it's about teamwork, leadership, and developing skills that will last a lifetime. Plus, it's a lot of fun! No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn. 

Who’s Eligible to Join?

Current Forsyth Central High School students in [grade levels allowed, e.g., 9th–12th grades] are eligible to join our team.

No Experience Needed: Whether you're a seasoned coder or new to robotics, everyone is welcome! We’ll provide the training and mentorship you need to succeed.

Commitment: We meet Monday and Thrusday after school until 6pm and Saturaday morning from 9am to Noon.  Throughout the school year, with increased commitment during build season (January–March) as we prepare for competitions. Attendance, participation, and teamwork are key to our success.

Attend an Information Session

 Come to one of our info sessions to learn more about the team and meet current members. We are in the Lab on Monday and Thrusday afternoon's right after school.

 No! We welcome students of all experience levels and will provide training in all areas. 


During the build season (January to March), we meet 2-3 times per week. Outside of build season, we meet about twice a week. 


The costs to join is $450 per student.  There will be additional cost to cover travel for competitions. 


Absolutely! We have a business team that focuses on sponsorships, fundraising, marketing, and outreach. Your skills will be a valuable addition.
